The second day of sports competition in the series of DAV Cluster Sports Meet started today . POLICE DAV hosted Handball, Roller skating and Volleyball matches today.Players from nine schools of the cluster displayed their talent in various sports. Today the players in the school displayed their talent in volleyball, handball and roller skating games. These competitions were conducted for Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19. The main objective of organizing these games is to inculcate the spirit of brotherhood and harmony along with the spirit of healthy competition among the children. In Volleyball Under-14, Police DAV School got first position, DAV Patran got second position, DAV Patiala got third position. In Volleyball Under-19, DAV Patran bagged first, DAV Moonak bagged second and Police DAV Patiala bagged third place. In Volleyball Under-17, DAV Patiala got first position, Police DAV got second position and DAV Patran got third position. In roller skating competitionGur fateh, student of Police DAV School, won two gold medals in Under 14 category. In the handball competition, under 14, DAV Patiala stood first and Police DAV School stood second. In Under 19 Handball Competition, DAV Patiala got first position and Police DAV School got second position. School Principal Mrs. Savita Dhankhar honored all the winners by giving them medals and inspired them to participate enthusiastically in different sports .
