Dussehra festival was celebrated today at Police D.A.V Public School, Patiala. This festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil. On this occasion, Dussehra activities were organized for the students from nursery to class II. In which they made different types of Ravana masks.
Students of class II and III recited poems depicting the victory of goodness. Khushpreet of class 3 explained the importance of Dussehra in her speech. Students of classes IV and V presented a play depicting the story taken from Ramayana. The Officiating Principal of the school, Mrs. Sukhjit Kaur appreciated the performance of all the children and encouraged them to follow the path of excellence.
