Police DAV Public School Patiala acknowledged its Pre- primary students by organizing a Graduation Ceremony in the school hall on 21 March 2024.
The tiny tots now step forward from Pre-Primary to class 1 and class 2 students to class 3 according to NEP 2020.It is their first step towards formal education. Little toddlers were very excited to receive their degrees clad in their black gowns and smart caps. The fellow students were present to witness the ceremony and to cheer them up while holding their scrolls firmly in their hands. A selfie corner was also set up to take with them those cherished moments.
The function was presided over by the school Principal Ms Savita Dhankhar.The programme started on an auspicious note by the traditional lightning of the lamp and a welcome song by the toddlers. The kindergarten and class 1 students exhibited their talents by presenting beautiful dances with messages on issues like say ‘No’ to plastic, scarcity of water, follow traffic rules, etc to name a few. Students of class 2 anchored the entire event in a very lively and enjoyable way.
Ms Savita gave away the scrolls to the students and instilled confidence in them. The Principal congratulated the students and their parents on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of the school staff. The Principal also addressed the students and updated them by asking different questions and applauded them for their brilliant performance throughout the year. The exemplary performance and confidence shown by the students was worth mentioning and highly commendable.
