It was a joyous occasion for the students of Police DAV Public School Patiala when they performed exceptionally well at the Punjab Zonal Games held at Patiala. The students participated in Under 14 , Under 17 and Under 19 categories. The school won a Gold medal in the Under 14 Volleyball match. The boxers of the school namely Chahat and Divanshu won Gold medals in their category. The school Handball team won a Bronze medal in Under 14 category. Sukhmanpreet Singh of class 12 won a Gold medal in Boxing Under 19 category.
The girls under 19 volleyball team won a Silver medal and the boys Football team won a Bronze medal. The school principal Ms. Savita Dhankhar congratulated the winners for their consistent efforts in making their school proud. She also lauded the efforts of their parents for their time and guidance. She motivated others also to participate more and more in sports.
