It was a historical moment when the students of Police DAV Public School Patiala brought laurels for the school by excelling in DAV Sports at State level. These games were held at Ludhiana and Jalandhar.The school U-14 Volleyball team won the Gold medal. Adding to the glory, the school U-19 Football team won silver.In Boxing, Chahat, Divyanshu and Paras won Gold medals in the U-14 category. Kapil won gold in the U-17 category. Sukhmanjeet won gold in U-19 category. Harkishan won gold medal in Wushu.
On the stupendous achievement, the students were honoured by the school officiating principal, Ms Sukhjit Kaur during the morning assembly. The sports stars were applauded by their classmates and the staff for their glorious performance. She thanked the school coaches Mr Jagtar, Mr Satish, Mr Zora Singh and Ms Jaspreet Kaur for their guidance and support. She also thanked the parents for their assistance in making their children shine. She also motivated others to participate in sports for their overall development. She wished them a bright future.
