The D.A.V. State Athletic Meet 2025 concluded with great zeal and success at Police D.A.V. Public School, Patiala. On the second day of the state-level athletic competitions, the boys’ events were held in a highly enthusiastic atmosphere. Athletes from various districts of Punjab participated in different events and showcased their remarkable skills and sportsmanship.The day began with the 100-meter race, which witnessed thrilling contests. This was followed by events such as long jump, high jump, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters race, javelin throw, and shot put. In every event, the participants competed with full enthusiasm, energy, and dedication.Principal S. Rajwant Singh motivated the players and said that such events help increase young people’s interest in sports and inspire them to lead a healthy lifestyle. S. Gurdas Singh Mann, Principal of J.N.J. School, Gidderbaha, joined as the Supervising Principal for the meet. The Chief Guest, Cluster Head Mr. Vivek Tiwari, Principal of D.A.V. Public School, Patiala, also encouraged the participants and praised their efforts. Mrs. Sandeep Renu, Principal of D.A.V. Global School, and Mr. Manoj Kumar, Principal of D.A.V. School, Samana, were also present on the occasion. They motivated the players, distributed medals and trophies to the winners, and extended their best wishes for a bright future.
The competitions were conducted under the supervision of experienced referees and coaching staff, ensuring smooth and fair management. The events of the second day concluded successfully. The winning athletes from this meet will now participate in the National-level Athletic Competitions. In the overall results, D.A.V. School, Moonak won the Under-14 trophy, Police D.A.V. School, Ludhiana won in the Under-17 category, and Police D.A.V. Public School, Jalandhar clinched the Under-19 trophy. In the Boys’ category, the overall trophy went to D.A.V. Nabha, while in the Girls’ category, D.A.V. Atari secured the overall trophy.Overall, the event was a grand success, marked by enthusiasm, teamwork, and outstanding athletic performances.
