On the occasion of Teej, the students of Police DAV Public School Patiala participated in the celebration with great enthusiasm. Students of Primary Wing were clad in Punjabi attire. They looked stunning and mesmerized everyone with their performances. They recited poems , sang songs and danced on the foot tapping numbers. They also relished the delicacies of the monsoon season. They were also awarded titles, namely, Ms & Mr Teej, Best Attire and Best Performer.Students of class 3 to 10 participated in the competition where they were judged on the basis of their attire and performances.
Anureet Kaur , Harsheen Kaur , Ekta, Prapti, Disha and Shubhneet Kaur bagged the title of Teej Queen in respective categories.The school principal Ms Savita Dhankhar congratulated the winners and awarded them with title sashes. She praised their talent and motivated others to participate in such events to boost their confidence.The celebration ended on the festive note.
